Once upon a time… Adichunchanagiri is 66 Kms from Mandya. From Nagamangala it is 21 Kms.It is noted for Bhairava worship on a hill. It was formerly a Natha panthi centre and is now a seat of the Swamy of Vokkaliga community. The place has a peacock sanctuary too. Sri ADICHUNCHANAGIRI MAHASAMSTHANA is situated on a rocky hill at an altitude of about 3,300 ft., above sea level, 110 kms west of Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, India.

Swamiji's Messages
Sri Sri Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji is the head of Adichunchanagiri Math. Swamiji was born in a village called Cheernahalli in Gubbi taluk of Tumkur district. After doing his Diploma at Government Polytechnic College (Tumkur), he did BE in Civil Engineering at National Institute of Engineering Mysore and M.Tech in Structural Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He was selected as a scientist at Central Water and Power Research Station Poona. He instead volunteered to teach at a blind school in Ramanagar district. In 1998 he renounced worldly life and became a Swamiji. Balagangadharanatha Swamiji appointed him

Co-Curricular Activities
Apart from teaching and learning the school's objective aim at overall development of the pupil through co- curricular activities. Literary and cultural competitions like quiz, debate, drawing, elocution, essay writing, fancy dress, rangoli, singing, declamation and flower arrangement are conducted during the weekends.
